Down, down. When this restaurant opened years ago, it was great! Over the years, with every manager, has fallen slowly. I still like it, but it depends on a thread. The restaurant is not almost as clean as it was, service not as good, meal sizes smaller. Please return to your fame years, I like so few restaurants.
Not long ago, I decided to give this place a try. The rolls were fresh and served hot, and the salads were absolutely fantastic! The onion petals weren't my favorite, but they were still enjoyable. The steak and shrimp were delicious. However, the star of the meal was definitely the strawberry lemonade—it was worth the trip all on its own! I'm definitely returning!
Service was excellent. The food was great. Only a big complaint – FIX THE GIANT POTHOLES IN YOUR PARKING LOT. Teriyaki glazed chicken rice pilaf is literally only two tablespoons. Rice is so cheap, so why stingy and not sell the meal, as advertised on the online menu? The online photo also shows Broccoli, but it is not included in the meal. The online photo shows a pineapple basket, but will serve as a ring that puts the chicken on. (See photos)
Overall, it was a good experience. My wife ordered the steak with a baked potato and broccoli as her vegetable side. I tried the Cedar Plank Salmon, which is a seasonal special. The 9 oz. salmon was marinated in a delicious sweet-savory glaze and was truly excellent. I would argue that it's the best dish on the menu—the salmon was cooked to perfection. However, the shrimp skewer was a bit overcooked, and the rice was dry. Despite that, the outstanding salmon and baked potato made it easy to overlook the less-than-ideal rice and shrimp. Our server, Yolanda, was very attentive. You simply have to try that salmon!
