Laugaás - Reykjavik

Four times to Iceland. And three times I visited Laugaás. Always great food. The three-course menu with lamb is highly recommended.

Amazing friendly service. More of a local place than a tourist stop. My local host recommended it and she was right. I got the seafood soup and was blown away. It feels like a find dining experience. Yet, be aware that they won't rush you. When you're ready to go you need to ask to pay or get up. I'm here to relax so I didn't mind. Service throughout the meal was proper.

First time dining here, read reviews and they were truly great, we had lobster soup which was great just a bit salty for my taste. Lamb was amazing , to finish the dinner cream brûlée .

The best meal I had in Iceland, away from the tourist area, family owned, I had the lobster soup, leg of lamb and cream brûlée. and friendly service. I would highly recommend this restaurant, recommended by hotel staff at the Cabin Hotel. .

Very small key place with amazing food. Lobster soup was amazing, Gratin seafood with shrimps also amazing and I had the Lobster Festival. If you are ever in Reykjavik, make sure to eat in this place.
