Blister's Bbq - Rexburg

I got the cowboy platter and paid an extra dollar for ribs only for there to be three of them, the size of my pinky finger. I could have forgiven that since it was the end of the day but they were really burned. If you have itsy bitsy ribs that are burned, it’d be more honest to just say you’re completely out instead of serving them. The rest of the food was good though.

Blisters is fantastic. while I haven't compared their pulled pork side by side with The Hickory's, both certainly represent the best BBQ food in town. What I love about Blisters is the sheer simplicity of being able to walk in, sit down, and get super good BBQ fast with extra sauce and hands readily at hand. even inside a gas station, it's got a very cool, chill vibe. top notch food and service.

Probably my #1 favorite place to get BBQ food in Rexburg. They’re in a Mobil gas station. I love the ribs; they are so so tender. You barely need to use any energy to tear the meat off of the bones. The flavors are great too. I always get Cowgirl, which is meat plate of 2 meats and 1 side. The other meat I would get pulled pork. It’s really tender as well. They’re best eaten with the BBQ sauce. I love the BBQ sauce I wish they sell it in bottles. The side choices are fries, coleslaw, and drink. I am not a fan of their coleslaw. The fries I got today was not that crispy, but I love the fries sauce!!

Came for lunch with my kid. Ordering was easy. Waiting quite a while for only two sandwiches. We ordered the cheesesteak and a brisket sandwich. Brisket sandwich: in a hamburger bun. Extremely greasy. The grease soaked the bun so we took the bun off. You can see the grease and sauce soaking into the bun. They put bbq sauce on the meat, I don’t remember it saying there would be bbq sauce on it, I would have requested no bbq sauce as I’m allergic! So I couldn’t even eat that sandwich. Daughter said the sauce was sweet, and the meat did not taste like brisket, she said it tasted like a roast beef from a crock pot. Cheesesteak sandwich: served on some kind of cheese sandwich roll. Super pale bread. The cheese was so salty it was almost inedible. The meat was super tender and the best part of the sandwich, it was tri-tip so it should be good. Again super greasy, didn’t like the bread. Ended up having a severe sodium overload from this meal. Which was not good. The sandwiches were just meh. Will we return? No

Best BBQ I 've had in a long while, quick, friendly. Offers veteran discount with ID. When you think, gas-station bbq you probably don 't have a great image in your mind but try it before you judge about that part. Favorites were, loaded pulled pork fries, BBQ chicken, good BBQ sauce.
