フィードバックを提供するLove the old hole on the walls! Right on the side of the street and delicious. I got the ribbed tip plate, the sauce was good and added the smoked ribs. Come on!
Went to Tookes for the second time this year. Their food has changed some. They smoke the meat really well but it still needs more seasoning. I will say they give you enough food for what you pay. The sides were the best thing I've tasted in awhile, especially the mac and cheese.
This is quite unlike any other restaurant I've been to. It's VERY rustic, VERY old fashioned. But the food is excellent and the former owner, Mr. Tooke, is a cool guy too. If you're in the mood for ribs, this is not a bad place at all.
It 's ok... my chicken wasn 't as tender as I 'd expect for smoked. The macaroni and cheese was salty. The collards had a sweet tang but a little hot sauce helps. The ribs were ok though. Portion was adequate. Underwhelming. Overall I prefer BBQ Master 's particularly for the chicken and sides.
This is a small place very old on the inside and outside. The guy in the back was smoking (vaping) while making food. The food was good not great but good. The Mac and cheese could be better. The ribs were good beside my food wasn?t hot temperature wise. This place has so much potential prices are a bit high for mediocre quality food.
