Traveled 30 mile from Norwalk to try this bakery. Heard a lot of good things. Call to confirm the hours open. The recording said, we are busy baking and can't answer the phone right now, or we closed. Our hour are Saturday 9 am to1 pm. Got there at noon and they where closed.

This was our first time trying this bakery. We typically go through a different one, but the owner was on vacation this week, so we decided to try somewhere new. I'm so glad we did, as we will now be switching the bakery we use to this one!We got cake, cupcakes, and cookies for my sister's baby shower, which was horror themed. The cake was strawberry swirl with strawberry mousse and fresh strawberries in the middle. The cupcakes were lemon with raspberry and chocolate with peanut butter. All of the flavors were amazing, especially the cake. My husband hates cake, has tried it from every place we've bought from and has never liked it until now! He ate multiple slices. The cupcakes were really good too. I like fruity flavors in cake, so the chocolate and peanut butter wasn't for me, but everyone else loved it! The cookies were great as well! I thought perhaps, at first glance, it could be too much icing, but it was balanced perfectly! My favorite thing was that I had ordered on, what I would consider to be, short notice and she still worked with me and created such amazing work. She even added a few touches that I was scared to ask for when ordering, which shows that she truly pays attention to detail and cares :

I had a baker back out of my cake last minute and handshoe cakes and cookies came through for me with less than a weeks notice! Not only was the cake exactly what I wanted it was unbelievably delicious! Lisa is a life savior and I highly recommend! Thank you again for everything!

Cakes, cookies, cheesecakes....everything is absolutely delicious! Not only do they taste great, but they look amazing too. Have gotten some of the cutest kid's birthday cakes here. Lisa will go out of her way to get you exactly what you want.

My mom has been going here for years, and the cakes have always turned out amazing so I decided to see if she could do my wedding cakes and cupcakes. Everything turned out absolutely beautiful! She was really affordable, and that was with me picking out all specialty cupcakes. She even had gluten free one's that I got for my celiac family members, and they were just as delicious as the regular cupcakes. She walked me through the process, got exactly how I wanted them decorated, and she did not disappoint. Everything turned out exactly how I wanted it and the cupcakes were the start of the show!
