Little Nugget Diner - Reno

Awful terrible burger is literally the best burger ever, I drive 2 hours to get it. BUT, the girls who work there are two of the rudest, nastiest, lack of customer service you can ever be. One of them ate a sandwich while she worked and took a bite of her food, took her teeth with her fingers then two cups and scrubbed ice into them with the cups themselves, and none of them wore gloves or once washed their hands. The other female was literally the most rude Tussi, who took so much attitude while we took our order. If we attack our morality and insist that we are bad people, because we don't want any fries with one of our burgers, we could give them the homeless if we don't stop them. I've never met anyone who shouldn't be in customer service anymore than the girl. But the burgers are amazing haha.

Here's the deal. The Awful Awful Burger is an American icon. The Nugget is. But it is in a shaded part of the city, the interior has not been changed for decades, and the carpet smells after it. It's not about aesthetics. It's about good burgers. You proudly show the health review (also because you need the insurance if you are a guest outside the city) and it is an A. You get a pound of ridiculously good riders, a juicy cheeseburger and of you are for a $9 shake, which are also incredible. There might be some beauty left to wish, but the food is worth it.

My favorite hidden gem in Reno, Nevada, also known as the Biggest Little City, is the Lil Nugget. Even during tough times, they offer the best breakfast deal in town. The Awful Awfuls are a must-try and never fail to impress!

It may not look like much from the outside, but this is a fantastic little spot! We discovered this place while searching for a late-night meal after finding that all the recommended restaurants were closed. To our delight, this place is open 24 hours and serves a full menu. The staff was incredibly friendly and really knowledgeable about the menu. They were quick, and the food was delicious. I can't wait to try the famous Awful Awful on my next visit. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is honestly one of the worst places I’ve ever been. There’s a long wait before you even get your food, and if you enjoy dining in a chaotic environment, this is the spot for you. The service is nearly nonexistent. I received a plate of overcooked fries and only a small portion of what should be a proper French dip sandwich. I felt completely ignored by the server, who couldn’t even make eye contact after delivering my meal. If you’re brave enough to try it, go ahead—prove me wrong.
