Pizza del Arte - Rennes

We went to Pizza del arte yesterday for lunch and we were very disappointed. The welcome was smiling. On the menu, there was a choice of pizza, pasta and some other entrees and salads. I ordered the Piadine roma salad (wraps made with pizza dough, chicken, artichokes). The taste was just Ok. Very blend. My husband chose the terra e mare salad (jumbo shrimps, asparagus, bacon). It was ok, nothing special. We were very disappointed. The service was super slow also.

Stopped here for dinner during a visit to Rennes, beautiful mixed starter for 2, and the main course was a delicious pasta dish. great value for money

Ok, first of all, I was not expecting much, but the result was much worse than that. we order two vegetarian pizzas, without cheese because both me and my wife are vegan. so logically, like in many other places, they replace the place of cheese with extra vegetable but here not at all. felt like their brains are not working properly. pizzas are maybe 25 cm size, and very thin, and almost nothing on top of it. We paid more than 15 euros for these, and I ate my pizza in 3 minutes, and it felt like a small snack. too badly, we took a take away option, so we were already too far from restaurant to complain about the result. if I would be in restraurant, and getting this, I would refuse to pay, and would change restraurant and quickly!! Go to this place ONLY if you like overpriced pizzas which are thin and small enough for your baby if you like the smiles of idiotic workers who actually think it's nice to offer something like this with the price you pay.

My hubby and I primarily went to this Italian restaurant because of its location. It's in the same building as the movie theaters, and on our recent stop, we went there before our movie started. The first time was after our movie. I was pleasently surprised by what is a chain restaurant. The food was excellent and the restaurant is huge and spacious, unusual for a French establishment. It was so spacious that it was wheelchair friendly. The first time, we had a pizza. Deelish. The second time, I had Pollo del sole, which was chicken and pasta. My hubby had Pizza Calzone. The dessert was deeelish too. I would highly recommend going there. The price is reasonable.

The restaurant is very good, several rooms, very pleasant. Open kitchen. Near the center. We ordered a risotto, a rigatoni and a lasagna. a bottle of lambrusco and three desserts. Everything is great. for 75,80 €. Perfect service, quick. totally recommendable. We'll be back.
