Barmaan Ghat बरमान घाट

Quite a decent place for worship of Maa Narmada and have a bath in sacred Narmada river. Good place with amazing scenery. Lots of temples.

The place was spiritual but there should be a pollution all around because of people who worship to maa narmada they throw all there home puja samagri in narmada ji and also polythene should be available and people through it all around .

जय माँ नर्मदे... Barmaan is an important ghat (River bank for bathing and holy dips) of River Narmada. The one I visited was Ret-Ghat (natural sand bank) was very good for families and kids. You can get famous local food Baigan Bharta (roasted brinjal) in many stalls and have a picnic kind of activity. My kids love the place as they love swimming in the river . It 's safe as the water level is not very deep.

No tickets Required, Public Holy place, Holy Temple of Maa Narmada, Maa Sharda, Lord Shiva, Also a good temple on the island between the river (Called Deepak Mandir or sometime Deepa ka Mandir) Good place to visit, also a photo spot

Beautiful and calm Shri Narmada Mata river ghat... One can take holy bath here and get the taste of famous Dal Bati. Nice place for small picnic
