Get the lamb kebab. it's in the top 3 for most tender and succulent meat ive ever eaten. the portion sizes are great for the price.
As for what I ordered, here's the breakdown based on the images: • Achik Chuchuk Salad (a tomato and onion salad with spices) • Pelmeni in Lagman (soup with lamb noodles) • Manty (dumplings filled with lamb and beef) • Lolah Fergany Style (beef kebab) • Lepeshka (bread)
I would give this restaurant five stars for the food! That's usually the main reason we dine out. The samsa may not have looked great at first, but we absolutely loved it. All the other dishes were also quite respectable. The only downside was that one of the glasses on our table had a crack, but it seemed to be served anyway. The waitress, Olga, seemed busy but managed to do a great job. Thank you!
The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, in contrast to the harsh fluorescent lighting commonly found in many other places. The food is equally impressive. Even during lunch, I noticed groups of Russian patrons enjoying their meals, accompanied by three bottles of drinks in this BYOB establishment, as heavenly aromas wafted from the oven. The music was a lively Russian house dance track, seemingly paying tribute to a night in Tashkent, while stars of the Uzbek sky were painted on the ceiling above. For my starter, I chose a unique dish—a ball of meal and a mixed salad for $5. The special dressing mentioned in the description seemed to be sugar, as everything tasted sweetened. Unfortunately, I was left feeling a bit disappointed by that.
