Bischofshof am Dom - Regensburg

We ate there and sat in the very nice garden. But also the interior is beautiful. Not only tourists but also locals go there. Friendly service, typical food, prices ok.

Although I have visited Regensburg before, this was the first occasion that I stayed in this hotel. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm and was pleasantly surprised to be allocated a room which was ready for occupancy at the start of a three-night stay. The second floor room had air conditioning and was well furnished. The bed was spacious but the large pillow was too soft and rather ineffective although there were plenty of cushions that could also be used. The TV had very few stations for English speaking guests. A safe was provided inside the wardrobe. Perhaps a tea/coffee machine would be a worthwhile addition. Breakfast food was available starting at 7am from a nicely stocked counter having hot and cold options. I also used the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner where the food was very good. All staff were very pleasant and the stay was enjoyable.

This place has a ver nice courtyard that is nicely decirated with many flowers and plants. A great place to enjoy a nice lunch.

Great restaurant, fast service, would recommend to anyone visiting! Schnitzel was perfect, pork knuckle was cooked to perfection. To top it off, great homemade beer!

Personal very unfriendly to families with children. we arrived there at 13:45 a.m., a polite waiter gave us the menus and drinks and went. 15 minutes later, when he came to take our order: surprise! no eating for us, is 2 clock, kitchen is closed!. there was no mention, at the time he brought us the menus that the kitchen will close soon and only available drinks. Although we arrived 15 minutes before closing time, he refused to take our food order by 2 o'clock. why there was no indication that we should only look for drinks in the menu when he brought the menus that were answering: he had no idea that we also wanted to order food. a family with 3 children, in a restaurant, around 13:45 clock. Why would he think we wanted to eat? also, talking to the manager did not help at all. she refused to confirm that the waiter made something wrong.
