Their base and protein were ok, though I wish they weren't out of chicken. The bancha choices were decent but their kimchi could've definitely been spicier. All in all good for a quick if adequate lunch.
I ordered the mixed rice with Korean beef, fried egg, zucchini, carrot, and spicy kimchi. You built the meal starting with carb, then protein, and lastly veggies. A lot of choices in each category gives endless combinations. The kimchi was definetly spicy and gave a nice warmth once mixed together.
Went here for a first dinner date, food is clean (all-natural ingredients no preservatives fresh) and served quickly. They have a selection of Korean beer I will have to try on next visit. Order 3 meats for highest satisfaction. The date went well, too.
This is a fun restaurant with a great variety of options. However, I found some dishes to be on the lukewarm side, which was disappointing. I ordered the spicy pork, and while it was good, I expected it to be served hotter. Overall, it's a nice place to dine, but the temperature of the food could use some improvement.
I enjoyed this restaurant for a quick lunch. The food is healthy and appears fresh. However, it lacks a strong personality—it's not packed with the bold Korean flavors I expected. They might have toned it down to cater to American tastes. Nonetheless, it's still a good spot. I would give it 4.5 stars.
