Carl's Jr. - Redwood City

Had a plant based veggie burger which was one of the best burgers I've ever had especially in the US where veg burgers are not common. The only issue is the serving lady who just takes order and doesn't inform if there would be any extra charges outside combo deals.

Soda fountains and most of the dining room closed due to pandemic, but an attentive and attractive staff were great!

Inflation is really affecting prices; the fries in our large combo order were served a bit sparsely. However, the food was still tasty, especially since we were quite hungry.

This Carl's Jr is just as impressive as the other locations I frequent. The food is consistently well-cooked and nicely presented, and the waffle fries are always served hot. However, I’ve noticed that the drive-thru at this particular location can be a bit winding, so it's not a straightforward path. It's a good idea to stay alert while navigating through, especially if you’re driving a larger vehicle. While this wouldn’t deter me from visiting, some patrons might find this information helpful.

I had a great conversation with Brady, who was working the drive-thru window. Despite juggling multiple jobs and having only a few hours of sleep, he was incredibly personable, friendly, and polite. I have a lot of respect for this young man.
