Ribs were dropped from the bone delicious! The best grill I had in the South Bay, possibly all of LA. If I wanted nitpick, I would say I wish they had a few sauce options and maybe burned ends.

I often seek out BBQ spots and am willing to go out of my way to try new ones. I recently discovered this gem that’s quite close to me, and I can’t believe I missed it until now. It’s a cozy little place with just three tables, but the grill is massive! They serve enormous pork ribs and brisket, and you even get to choose how fatty you want your brisket. The pork and jalapeño sausage is excellent as well. I haven’t tried the turkey breast yet, but they offer five protein options. The side dishes are very traditional and authentic. Until now, my favorite BBQ spot in South Bay was Whiskey Flats in San Pedro, but it looks like Willingham's World Famous BBQ has taken that title!

I'm a BBQ head. I'm looking everywhere for a good BBQ. I was born and raised in the South Bay and this place I didn't even know how it is very small and on one side of the city, the type of corner of the South Bay. The brisket is out of the chain. Now you need to know how to order it. Either dry or damp, which means either lean or fat. I actually had them half wet and half dry for my sandwich. I was also impressed that I could find a good bride in Redondo Beach. I had cut my bride and the meat has the perfect amount of smoke, tender, moist and the spices just right. For a small place these guys offer some amazing scrub. I have the mite sauce on the side, but the BBQ sauce didn't need it. I thought the sauce ruined the brisket. Next time I try her sweet sauce and Baked Beans. Either get the plate and get the work with your brisket or get the sandwich. I had the normal Brisket sandwich and wish I had the Jumbo. If you get something different than the bride you can miss. In the entire southern bay there is no better barbecue area that is safe. Do not waste your time in the del amo mall BBQ, come here. I was only once a day and was amazing. Can't wait to come back!

While I would give this restaurant a 4-star rating, I'd actually lean more towards 3.5 stars if that were an option. The food, including the meats and sides, was fresh and well-prepared, but it did lack flavor overall. The brisket was incredibly tender, and the ribs literally fell off the bone. However, the turkey was a bit on the dry side, and the pulled pork was simply shredded pork without much distinction. My favorite item was the hot link. The potato salad and baked beans were just average, but the creamed corn and coleslaw stood out as quite tasty. I wasn’t impressed with the BBQ sauces; I attempted to enhance them but ultimately opted to use my own instead. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would definitely return! Although it was a bit bland and could use more flavor, I do appreciate quality BBQ that isn't overly salty or greasy.
