Ay! Jalisco Tex-mex - Redland

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The older gentleman at the front greeted us with complete silence until I asked if we could sit anywhere. He responded with a curt “sit right here.” He took our drink orders and brought the food, but when my friend asked for something, he simply said, “the other lady is your server.” The female server also seemed unhappy to help us; she didn’t even acknowledge me with a thank you when I paid. I still love this place for some delicious pupusas or a Salvadoran breakfast. We came here specifically for that. The combination of eggs, chorizo, beans, and plantains is just fantastic.

The chips and salsa here are excellent. We were given two different types of salsa and were informed that one was the spicy option. However, I didn't find either of them to be particularly spicy.
