Mod Pizza - Redding

This place is great! While you won't find traditional New York or Chicago style pizza here, being able to customize your pizza to your liking with quality ingredients is a rare find. The crust at Mod Pizza is my favorite part. Although the bbq sauce I tried was a bit underwhelming and melded into the overall taste in my mouth, the red sauce really stood out to me. It had a tangy kick that was followed by a sweet and spicy flavor. The staff I encountered during my visits seemed a bit unenthusiastic, but overall young and diverse. Despite the lack of energy from some of the employees, the person cooking the pizzas was the most professional and lively. It was interesting to see so many different faces coming in and out of the back of the restaurant. I will definitely be returning soon.

Amazing customer service! Went there with two friends on Monday night and all the employees were great! We were greeted right after we came in and got food made very quickly. Will definitely go back.

It can be challenging to find vegan cheese at most pizza restaurants in Redding, but thankfully MOD Pizza offers it! The pizza was delicious and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning. I also enjoyed a side salad with non-dairy dressing, which was also fantastic. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean.

We were searching for a Blaze or Pieology but stumbled upon MOD instead. It was very similar. We will have to see how the leftovers taste for breakfast.
