Who gives children a coloring book without providing crayons? Additionally, the dining room was quite cold. After a chilly couple of days, one would expect the heating to be turned up to a more comfortable level. All of these factors, combined with the high prices, mean we won’t be returning to this restaurant.
Sushi was served warm didn?t even eat any after the first piece, the bowl was decent, I ordered a a beer and was served in a warm glass?. Total bill was 52$. Not worth it. The cooks in the bowl section are cool people but the bar area ehhh
Came here for dinner. After a long day of driving we decided to try this place as the reviews were good and it was walking distance to our hotel. When walking in, we were not greeted but we walked into the bar area and asked if we could sit at the bar. They have a full bar. The beer selection is alright. My BF had their IPA and I got a peach mojito. We ordered a monkey roll, 7 piece nigiri, and a peppered tuna avocado roll. While we waited for our order, my BF asked the bartender for something refreshing and she made him a cucumber doll lemonade chiller. It was definitely refreshing and really went well with the sushi. Our food came and it was very delicious! Only one we didn't care for was the peppered tuna avocado roll. The rice over took the tuna and it really needed something with more texture. After we finished, we wanted alittle something more so we tried the shrimp poppers. Very tasty and was the perfect amount! If we stay in Redding again, will come back.
Great cheesesticks, but the sushi was a major disappointment! The sushi was discolored and sliced incredibly thin, nearly as thin as the ginger. Plus, there was way too much rice in the nigiri. I ended up removing half the rice from each piece, yet I still couldn't taste the fish. They were also charging full price for this! When I asked about the chef, the server said he had stepped out and she hadn’t seen him. The BBQ Bowl ordered by the people next to me looked greasy, too. I suggest spending your money on better food elsewhere.
The restaurant was great and offered excellent value for money, with bowls priced at just $15, which you can fill as much as you like. There was a wide variety of options, including meats, vegetables, and sauces. The only downside was the limited choice of noodles, as they only had buckwheat. However, I still managed to fill my bowl and enjoy a satisfying meal. Even after my meal, I was able to fill a takeout container with leftover food. The chef clearly knew what he was doing!
