フィードバックを提供するWhat a cool campsite. Nice and tasty restaurant, prices fine. Coffee/ice cream stand, chip shop, climbing park, swimming lake. They organize various activities for youth and adults, such as hike tours, dropping, cycling tours, wine tasting, sup tour, rafting, canyoning, etc. For a fee. Nice trips in the area, sometimes driving a little further, but plenty to see and do. We'll be back for sure. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Kid-friendly, Great value
Campsite with lots to do (climbing park very nice) with nice swimming pond. We stood with the caravan on a spot on the pond, great place with lots of shade. Water is from the river and very cold (comparable to a plunge pool of a swimming pool) but that means that you immediately cool off well with the heat that we had. Sanitary is fine: older and newer sanitary buildings, clean and functional. The owner (Jure) is really a winner! Very friendly and involved and came to say hello personally at our place on the day we arrived. We have never experienced that at a fairly large campsite. The wine tasting (diploma A) is done by the owner himself and is highly recommended. Had a very nice evening, especially because at the same time a children's dinner is organized next door by the animation team (pizza). Animation team including a Dutch, Naomi. Perfect for our 5 year old daughter who immediately became a fan of Naomi! Animation team does fun things without a tight program. The restaurant also regularly hosts a fun evening program with cover bands. The Elvis band was good! Two minuses: very tight parking space on arrival, causing some chaos at the reception and a long wait for check in and check out. I wish the campsite a larger parking lot at the entrance, but that should of course be possible. We found the location somewhat remote from the beautiful nature spots. Next time we will go more towards Bled in Slovenia. Just an hour from Ljubljana, a very nice city. During our stay there was a big storm that destroyed part of the campsite (especially some nice trees near the lake). The team was really excited, but did everything they could to make the guests feel comfortable. The next day free ice creams were handed out and the owner personally had a chat and offered everything he could offer, should there be another storm. Like that the restaurant part would stay open all night for people with a tent to shelter. Really great! Just read that the campsite is closed due to flooding. Terrible!! We wish Jure and Katja and the entire team all the best with the reconstruction. Service: 5 Location: 3 Hotel highlights: Kid friendly
Super campsite, beautiful surroundings. Beautiful river. Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Nearby activities: Beautiful country, lots to see and do. Hiking, rafting, swimming, sledding, cycling, etc. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Kid-friendly, Great value
It was extremely crowded. The area for tents was shared with a lake beach, and it was so crowded with people sunbathing that we could not set our tent and had to search for a hidden corner. We basically did paid wild camping in an unprepared zone. The pipes of at least 2 basins for washing dishes had leakage and you wet your feet, in one of the buildings for showers there where no pipes for draining the water (by design, they call them eco-showers . Very friendly staff in the reception, that was great. And amazing playgrounds for kids. It was a relatively expensive camping. Conclusion; Poor value for money when traveling with a tent. Ok when traveling with children.
Camp Menina is next to Savinja. It is a place where you can find everything. Games for children, many options for refreshments. You rent a SUP and you already ride on the lake, which is in the middle of the camp. There is also a path from the lake to the river and rapids. But the water is cold...
