Dumbo Real Sitio De San Ildefonso

Great bar to eat large tapas, really well cooked and great service. All the typical Spanish dishes... Morcilla, chorizo, etc. And of course. It's situation could not be better.... In the royal town of San Ildefonso . And service was very good.

Visited la granja on a Monday when many restaurants were shut. This restaurant looked the best of those that were open and it had a menu del dia for €10. I had a mixed salad for starter which was average. My partner had scrambled eggs with nettles which he said were very good. For main I ordered chicken hamburguesa which was horrible. Pink minced chicken, lightly griddled. Very unappetising. I couldn't eat it, my partner tried it and said it wasn't good. Served with a small handful of mediocre chips. No vegetables but that is typical of Spanish restaurants. My partner had a pork chop which wasn't cooked through. Quite bland. Served the same way with a handful of chips. We had coffee instead of dessert which was ok. Menu also served with bread and water (or wine). Served a piece of tortilla as a tapas which was actually quite nice. Clean toilets, good service. I saw a high chair but there was no baby changing facilities. I wouldn't return or recommend this restaurant. If you are going to visit town either reserve a table in one of the nice restaurants or bring a picnic.
