The Rayleigh Lodge

It wasn't forever and it's just around the corner to us. We had a love meal in the garden, the staff was great and the food was very delicious. Will definitely be back

The food was really good and the price is reasonable. The steak was perfectly softly cooked and taste really good. Starters were also amazing. My family enjoyed all meals. Very satisfied

Just had Christmas eve birthday breakfast with my family (20 in all) and have to say how much we all enjoyed the experience. The breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked, great quality bacon sausages and the rest couldn't have been better. Service was smooth and efficient bringing all twenty meals to table within a few minutes. A big thank you to Tom and his team, will definitely be returning next year. 10 out of 10

The Rayleigh Lodge is my local and I want it to be successful, so I'm only posting my views hoping any issues can be rectified. Twice very recently I've experienced a queue at the bar, and having to wait an hour for food , even though the pub wasn't that busy. I can only assume its Staffing problems?. Shame this pub has so much potential, it's too easy to get a bad reputation.

Food took about an hour to arrive. When it did the food was cold. Clearly they were short staffed at the bar and in the restaurant. Shame as used to be such a good place to eat and drink. Hope they can sort out the staffing issues. Food and drink is decent value for money.
