Michael's Big City Steakhouse - Rawlins

In rawlings for a night on the way to slc. I can't say enough good things about this place. warm, friendly, friendly, clean. all adjectives that describe this restaurant. hubs had the chicken roast steak and I had the best rib sandwich; both delicious. mike has spent time talking to his customers. he really wanted to know our story. I mentioned that eating was excellent and was cooked for perfection. Go, don't go, come here and taste good food.

5 stars overall. Clean, friendly, prompt service. Salad was good, shrimp was decent, steak was fantastic! Exactly how I ordered it (rare). The baked sweet potato.....drenched in sugar and marshmallows... if you aren't expecting that it is not pleasant. Bit of a downer really. Whomever the wordsmith is responsible for crafted the menu deserves some extra praise. Comedy goldmine.

Went looking for some food while traveling and found this place close to our hotel. The atmosphere was laid back and the owner and staff were amazing and super friendly. Felt like a genuine small town dinner. The food was incredible, made fresh with portion sizes that just blew us away. If we are ever back this way, we are definitely stopping here again. Thank you for an incredible experience during our road trip.

Delicious food. I usually go for the big steaks. Pictured is a Double Deuce (22 oz Sirloin) with melted bleu crumbles. It was fantastic. Each meal is served with a homemade chimichanga. Owner is a friendly guy and really does everything he can to provide excellent service.

What a great place!!!! Easy to get to, and good parking. Nice atmosphere and welcoming staff!! Ordered the Sirloin and the Hamburger Steak. Both were amazing. Steak was cooked perfect and the seasoning was really good. Had the baked sweet potato as a side and it was wonderful. Hamburger Steak was tasty and the onion rings topped it off great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Hope we make it back soon.
