Panty Truck Stop - Rapid River

I've been visiting this restaurant for years, and it never fails to impress! The shrimp fettuccine is one of my favorites, and their fish fries are definitely the best in the area.

This restaurant offers an excellent dining experience, with ample parking suitable for tractor trailers and RVs. The restaurant is very clean, including the restrooms, and the staff is fantastic. The wild soup was delicious, and both the taco salad and the turkey club sandwich were outstanding. Additionally, there’s a well-stocked mini-mart with all the essentials you might need while traveling.

I ordered the walleye while my partner opted for the chicken. We were both pleasantly surprised by the quality, price, and generous portions. My meal came with a salad and was only about $15, while my partner's cost around $11 and included two sides. Plus, both dishes were served with fresh, warm rolls. No one leaves hungry—most diners left with a takeout box! The service was excellent, with a young waitress who checked on us frequently to ensure everything was to our liking. The staff seemed well-trained in treating customers and knowledgeable about the daily specials. My only minor complaint was the coffee. Don’t get me wrong, it was solid coffee, especially if you like it strong, but I think I’ll order tea next time. Overall, we’re excited to return soon!
