Myrie's Island Kitchen - Randallstown

Trying out a new Jamaican restaurant turned out to be a disappointing experience. The ox tail and stew beef were both served in small portions, and the ox tails appeared dirty while the gravy tasted like it came from a package. The one-pot beef dish was also unappetizing. Overall, the flavors lacked any authentic Jamaican taste. I would not recommend dining here again.

I just tried the curry with sweet flavors and everything was delicious! I will definitely be back at least three times a week. The staff, especially Myrie, was very friendly and welcoming.

This restaurant is amazing! The food has a local flavor and I really enjoyed the jerk chicken and ox tail. The meat was tender and there was plenty of sauce. I give it 5 stars and highly recommend it! The service was fast and very friendly.

Update to the previous submission: I only had the worst customer service here. that used to be my way to find Jamaican food, but when I wanted to pay the woman waiting for me, she said only cash or debit. the sign said cash or debit preferred, but not say no credit and in fact said $5 minimum to use credit (my order would be $60.) I left behind after circumventing with their evil reaction and posture and will not return. I will also make sure that everyone I recommended myries does not even interfere. updated to 1 star....I guess they don't need my business. I was in the mood for Jamaican food and saw all the great reviews, so I thought I would try myrie’s. I have ordered the jolt chicken flours that come with red bean rice and cauliflower. I have also added cocabrot, a beef patty and a pineapple ginger potion. When I arrived to get my food, I first noticed how clean it was. I always find it comforting to eat from a restaurant that has a clean interieur, especially with the current times. the man who took my payment and took my food was super professional and delivered a great customer service experience. Before he sacked my food, he made sure to show me everything in himself what was great because it is the worse experience to get food and bring it home just to find something that was missing. once I could eat my food I was super happy I decided to get my Jamaican food here! the jerk was so tasteful and the meat was very delicate. in other Jamaica restaurants I had boland cauliflower and dried red bohnen rice, but at this place they made it perfect! the cocosbrot and the bark patty were also delicious, and the pineapple ginger drink was refreshing. I want to come back here when I visit Jamaican food. this place is a winner!

Top notch food! Best of the best! They were able to cater our party of 50 on short notice and I could not have been more pleased. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and I highly recommend their restaurant. 10/10.One Love
