Every visit, you receive a card that gets stamped, and when it’s full, you receive $10 off your next purchase. I just redeemed my $10 discount today and treated myself to a cappuccino ice cream macaroon sandwich. The atmosphere isn’t particularly noteworthy, but most customers opt for takeout. I usually prefer to dine in.
I’m writing this review after my second visit to this restaurant. My first experience about four months ago was decent, but this time the quality was absolutely terrible. First, while the fish itself wasn’t bad, it certainly wasn’t good either. Additionally, the large portion size hardly provided any more fish than the small size. I ordered avocado and felt cheated. The edamame was fine, but the onion and tempura were so stale that they ruined half of the dish. I requested light spicy mayo, and instead they completely smothered it! I've had fish from Hawaii, Japan, British Columbia, Washington State, and throughout California, but this ranks among the bottom three worst dishes I've ever had. I usually don’t go to these lengths to write reviews, but I feel compelled to give a serious warning: DO NOT EAT HERE!
Came straight from the airport only to find out they don't update their service hours and are CLOSED ON SUNDAYS.
Big portion but fish taste isn 't for me. I grew up in Hawaii and always got foodland poke. My term of poke is always only FISH AND RICE. They got that down but there 's so much flavorings they add. I 'm not a poke expert but from my knowledge, poke is cut in cubes not shredded. The poke looked like cat food on rice when I looked at it. Taste: 6.5/10 it had more sauce on shredded fish, tasted the sauce more than the fishPresentation: 5/10 looked like cat food on rice. : I ordered the California and spicy. Overall, not bad. The service is really kind and friendly but the poke isn 't for me. : '
