Las Casuelas Nuevas - Rancho Mirage

For our appetizers, we ordered shrimp ceviche, and it was excellent. As for the main courses, we opted for combination fajitas (with fish and steak), chicken mole enchiladas, and suizas enchiladas. The enchiladas were truly delightful, but I was a bit disappointed with the fajitas. The hot plate had a generous portion of fish, but the steak was sparse, and the overall serving size felt small. It was accompanied by a small cup of beans that were somewhat watery. The vegetables included broccoli and carrots, which I didn't particularly enjoy alongside the expected bell peppers and onions. I've definitely had better combination fajitas at chain restaurants. Despite the letdown with the fajitas, it wouldn't deter me from returning; I now know what to avoid on my next visit. Overall, we had a great time, and the service was excellent.

It was a lovely day, and I wanted to take some out-of-state visitors to a place where they could enjoy our beautiful outdoor scenery. It had been a while since I had lunch there. They arrived before I did and took me to our table situated beneath the trees. Each of us ordered something different, and we all raved about how delicious the food was. I can't wait to go back soon!

Wow, this restaurant is absolutely stunning! As we approached the fountain and the beautifully tiled patio, we almost felt like we were stepping into someone's private hacienda. The tiled bathrooms, floors, and overall decor were impressive. I would definitely consider hosting a private event here! And the food was great as well! The service was excellent, the chips were served hot, and the margaritas were just right. My kids really enjoyed their meals too!

Our first visit to this fine establishment with our friends and we were throughly surprised. Friendly staff amidst a nicely designed interior makes this a very family friendly atmosphere. The food was top notch and we will definitely be back.

We love trying new Mexican restaurants and their food was delicious! For Forth of July it wasn’t packed we got seated right when we arrived around 5 pm for a party of 6. Mauricio was our server and was very polite very attentive the other staff were polite as well. Our plates were big very filling. The restaurant is hacienda like very elegant with outdoor and indoor seating. We will come back whenever we’re in Palm Springs area again.
