フィードバックを提供するA few years ago, we took a guided tour through Raleigh, Burnt Cape. Our guide was from there, so we decided to visit their hometown this year. We were looking for a light lunch, so we ordered the crackers and a traditional turkey and plant soup. While waiting for our food, we saw other tables ordering the Pan-Fried Cod, and it smelled amazing. In the end, we also ordered the cod, and it was just as delicious as it smelled. Thank you for a wonderful meal. This visit took place in July 2019. Apologies for the delayed review.
If they happen to find themselves in this ghost-town feeling sky, this is one of their few eating options. fortunately, eating is good and setting decent (think breakfast caffe ambience cum hockey pcitures). many seafood choices (Note: all salmon in nl is farm...easily) the owners do not offer access code for the internet, except for the guests staying in their hotel on the street. the owners have: the restaurant, a small food store, cabins and apparently the only gas in the city. one of them also drives the school bus! this is not a very practical place to get, but if you find yourself here, check them.
We had only the chowder, but it was the best of our two-week journey: tasteful and plentiful. friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Fantastic small and very friendly caffe that has been thrown away in the north of nl. I ate the best fish of my whole trip here, huge steaks of healed and homemade chips, boiled to absolute perfection. Thank you!
If you are ever in the vicinity of Raleigh, NL you must eat at the Burnt Cape Cafe. The food is excellent with great service. The Cafe owners were there and are super friendly, very knowledgeable of the area and prepare great meals.
