Hanneshof - Radstadt

We were tipped off that we should book here for Friday evening because the Filzmoos wind band would be playing outside. Apparently they play at 8pm every Friday (in the summer?) Fantastic. Including whip cracking, classical pieces and some more modern tunes. The food was also very good - loads of choice on the menu. Quantities are sizeable. We had to wait a while between main course and dessert which was probably just as well!Our waitress was very bubbly- the only slightly disappointing thing of the whole evening was that she paid rather too much attention to the group of her English friends on the table next to us. We had to wait ages (c45 mins) until we could pay!But with reasonably priced good food and the fabulous atmosphere on the terrace (on a Friday evening) this is a must.

We visited the Hanneshof while staying in Filzmoos and were greeted by a very friendly young lady who spoke excellent English. When she seated us she told us that they were using a limited menu because they were between winter and summer season. They had English menus but only the full menu so she gave us and English menu and German limited menu and helped us patiently choose our dinners. She felt bad but It was kind of fun trying to guess the words in German. We were served pike/ perch, salmon steak, and sliced turkey. The meals came with bread, pasta, or vegetables. All the dishes were prepared very well and were excellent. Service was fast and friendly, portions were very nice sized, not to small to leave you hungry but not filled with sides that filled you up. Price for this quality and quantity of food was excellent. Nothing over 16 euros. Total bill for the 3 of us was 50 euros. I would consider this a 4 star place based on service, food quality and presentation, and atmosphere. Beautiful place, very Austrian mountain decoration, but still very elegant. I would like to eat here again and taste some of their other menu items.

Sauber und gepflegt. Alles Notwendige war vorhanden. Nahegelegene Aktivitäten: Unzählige Wanderrouten beginnen direkt beim Hotel. Begehbarkeit: Kleiner, ruhiger Ort, daher kurze Wege. Essen und Getränke: Jeden Abend gab es ein anderes Menü mit mehreren Gängen zur Auswahl. Die Qualität der Speisen war hervorragend und hochwertig. Zimmer: 5
