フィードバックを提供するMy boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our first anniversary dinner here. We made a reservation days prior but we were the only people eating there that night so we had the whole place to ourselves which made our special date more intimate. We opted for a three-course meal but we asked for juice instead of wine. Service was great, food was served at approx 20-30 minutes. The waiter attended to our requests immediately (maybe because we're the only customers that night). I liked the Clam Chowder. It was tasty but not to the point you'll get mauumay. The Prime Rib Tapa was okay but I felt like cutting through and chewing a gum (I had it medium well). It was very filling though. The dessert was to die for. Fine dining at a reasonable price but can't rival those of five-star restos. Would probably bring my parents here on their anniversary as well.
Food came out 1.5hrs after, and this was soup. Salad came out 2hrs after, harvesting the greens? Server girl seemed dazed. Ordered for a glass of white wine, she gave me a wine glass. I guess we are very literal. Most of the items we wanted from the menu were OUT OF STOCK. Rib Eye Tapa felt like we were eating dog bone. Truffle pasta I estimate to be 50g only. Blackened chicken meat very dry, rice over toasted. Today is Mother's Day. We came here to celebrate, in turn we were very disappointed. We are usually very tolerant and never complain, but this experience was just too much to keep quiet about.
Tried their Prime Rib Tapa and Jambalaya. I would say it's nothing grand. Service took around 40mins. Price is quite high. Okay lang to have tried but can't say I'm going back for it.
I can't say the food here really stands out in any notable way, and that's not great since they charge upscale prices here. Their huevos rancheros is basically a taco salad, there's nothing notable about it. Their sirloin tapa is pretty overpriced for what is a normal tasting cut of meat, their pasta is quite a bit cheaper so not as much to complain about there. The prices just don't make sense when taste-wise, it doesn't stray too much from their Pancake House roots. This not mentioning service can be very slow, and not due to the number of diners. We were literally the only people in the restaurant when we came, and it took forever for out food to come out one by one. It seemed like they only had one chef in the kitchen.
