First time to try Peruvian food and it was great! Tried their ceviche pescado and at first I thought I would not like it, but it was surprisingly good: great balance of acidity and flavors coming from the different ingredients. Roasted chicken was also very great. The 3 sauces (garlic, spicy mayo and chimichurri) go very well with the chicken. Will definitely come back!
Our family had our Sunday Dinner here. We ordered the fish ceviche (nice and citrusy), roasted chicken (nicely spiced), paella (good serving and tasty), lengua (delicious), and fish with lemon and capers. It's a but pricey for me - but with the taste of the food, i Will definitely come back here.
Last weekend, we hunt out for the best Peruvian restaurant here in Manila. We tried at least 3 restaurants. And among the three, Mantaro is the best when it comes to taste. We love all their food!! Comparing the price, quantity, and taste, Mantaro won it all. The dish we liked the most was their appetizer. Sorry for not being able to note down the names of their dishes since it is hard. We even asked the server's help to explain each dish to us. ???? The chicken and its 3 sauces are perfect combination. My favorite is their Lomo Saltado. It has beef and fries in it. Yay! The fish has a good taste too. I feel healthy while eating it because of the garlic it have. Yet it doesn't taste like bad garlic. Overall, I liked all the dish we ordered. We will definitely come back to eat at Mantaro again. ????
Its great!! If you want to eat real peruvian food this the place in Manila. The chef has lived in Peru so he knows how to cook. Soy chilena pero muchas gracias por traer un parte de latinoamerica aqui. 100% recomendado!
