El Avion - Quepos

This unique restaurant is located on the Quepos Road to Manuel Antonio, and is aptly named "The Plane Restaurant" due to its structure resembling a real airplane. The interior is converted into a night bar, offering a unique dining experience. Surrounding the plane, the restaurant boasts stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, with two floors and friendly wait staff. The menu offers a variety of dishes, ranging from traditional Costa Rican cuisine to Italian favorites and famous burgers catering to American tourists. Prices are reasonable and the quality of food is good. During my visit in September, a local artist displayed handmade jewelry and crafts at the entrance, offering unique and quality souvenirs. I recommend avoiding the area during peak tourist season as it can get crowded, with higher prices, lower quality, heavy traffic, and noise from the various entertainment venues. It's best to visit during quieter times to fully enjoy the beauty of the area.

The bar area is located on the same level as the plane, which can be accessed through the boarding gate from the street, while the restaurant is accessed by the cargo ramp.
