Osaka Sushi - Queenston Blvd, Woodstock

The food was okay, not superior. The customer service was awful. I went in to order take out. There were no customers so presumably not busy. The woman at the front by the cash register was so rude it got to the point where I asked if I was bothering her and she said, Yes !!! I will not go back again.

Rude, surly server. She went so far as to slam down dishes and roll her eyes when my husband asked for more water, and we constantly had to call her over for water and ordering sheets. She never once came to our table on her own after we were initially seated. Food was okay, but nothing spectacular. For a place that wasn't busy at all, it took forever for our food to show up. Will not be going back.

I am shocked at the numerous reviews with more than 1 star!! It is telling when a restaurant receives all 5 star, 3 star, 2 star and 1 star reviews, this restaurant is obviously inconsistent. Our first time here and came only because Sushi Cove was closed tonight (our local sushi haunt that never disappoints! The service was AWFUL! The girl serving us seemed to be annoyed at us the whole night, would walk right past without any acknowledgement and generally was rude, unhelpful and I felt like she just hated us for being in there. Not a first impression you want to make. Because she was never around, the sushi chef (a young guy would have to serve the food he just prepared, but would just plop it down on the table and not say a word or even make eye contact. We had to ask for everything and even some of the things we ordered didn't come out and we had to remind them. The quality of the sushi was awful. The sashimi is paper thin and translucent and if you order 6 pieces, you'll actually get 3! The rolls are packed with so much rice to fill you up with the thinnest pieces of fish, It is obviously a scam to have you filled up on rice and inexpensive ingredients and not at all about quality or care. Additionally they were out of sake, a name stay in any quality sushi restaurant. For the amount of spent, I really feel like we were ripped off. I wouldn't come here again, which is a shame because they are so close to where we live. I really hope that Sushi Cove isn't closed for good and this was a one off thing because I can't imagine life in Woodstock without them satisfying my sushi cravings! Seriously, go to Sushi Cove! A big Thumbs DOWN Osaka Sushi!! As an update, I've been terribly sick since I ate here tonight my stomach is in knots and I feel extremely nauseous. I am so full of rice and I didn't even eat a ton.... Seriously, don't eat here!
