We tried to speak French to our waiter, but he knew his limitations, so one of the chef came out and helped us order two delicious egg based meals. The best part was for under $13 we had our entree, soup, and endless amount of fresh coffee for lunch.
3 courses for $12.95 Tasty tomato soup as a starter. Then a Waldorf Salad to go with the main. Main was a choice if lasagna, pasta or pizza. Very good value with efficient service.
We wandered into this gem by chance with 2 cranky, hungry children and all left satisfied. A typical french-canadian fare menu with several lunch special options. My husband ate the soup salad quiche - a most delicious tomato and veggie soup, followed by a substantial and varied greens salad. The quiche had less pastry than we are used to, but was fluffy, tasty and clearly fresh. I went for the lunch duo of beer with pizza. A piping hot flatbread pizza with great sauce and toppings. They did have one child seat but not an overtly child-friendly restaurant. Wish we could have stayed and savoured longer before naptimes.
We were traveling with a dog in a carriage, And this restaurant welcomed us and gave us great service. the food and drinks were very yummy. Not wheelchair accessible inside, but outside works just great!
