Pao Do Povo - Quarteira

The coffee is great here. However, the Cakes out of this world. So tasty and naughty'! It's a place frequented by the locals, so it's very busy. It's worth it to stop rest and chat. Like many places you take a ticket, wait your turn,...then order at the counter in the middle. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Tripadvisor says pao do povo is closed, it is not! really nice cake to really good trips! great stop on the walk to quarteira but also great for a takeaway cake for later

Very affordable cakes and drinks. always popular with locals. small beer still € 1. You can't beat that. first timer, make sure to get her ticket close to the counter.

Been for a walk after booking in our hotel. QuarteiraSol ..needed a little sustenance....popped into Pao Do Povo...we had a big slice of pizza..and cheese toastie with coffee and a pot if tea...and got change out of 5 euros...the pizza was really good and my wife...really enjoyed the cheese toastie...the staff were cheerful and very helpfull..great service and a nice atmosphere...you can sit inside our outside on the patio overlooking the beach...really enjoyed it...will be going back....

This is our every day stop in the afternoon…. Coffee brilliant… cakes brilliant…. Prices awesome that and it’s only minutes from our hotel Can’t beat it
