Gruto's - Purcellville

Reliable soft operation with an extensive menu and room for customizing what you want. Servings are a little expensive for ice, but in line with the area, so you can expect to pay similar prices when you go for ice instead of taking a few home out of the grocery store. There is usually a line out of the door, but it moves quickly. During the COVID there is a six-person limit in the shop, and the staff respects the personal space. The walls are strongly decorated and many people seem to enjoy the decoration while waiting for their ice cream. I think there's also a menu for dogs.

We absolutely love the cozy, family-owned vibe of this ice cream shop located in the heart of downtown Purcellville. The staff are friendly and always greet us with warm smiles. The soft serve is delicious, and they offer a wide range of toppings and options on their menu, including cups, bowls, shakes, and sundaes.

It is my family's favorite place to get a treat - the ice cream is absolutely delicious (my favorite is the sundae of reese with chocolate and vanilla twist) and the people who own it are really nice. It is also fun to eat it outside the shop, sitting in sunshine while the locals are passing - it is the best place to see! There is Purcellville such a small city feel--I highly recommend it!
