Not pictured: liquor. Because it was so good it didn't last. Stopped here a while back with the family after finishing up the W&OD rail trail. And glad we did. The staff was so friendly and not only knowledgeable about the whiskey on offer but also shared with us the amazing history of the building they are in. They went so far as to let us sample off menu items so we could better decide what to take home. There's a reason they're a distillery known not just across Virginiabut, beyond.

Love this distillery. They are always friendly when you come in, are wicked knowledgeable about anything whiskey and they make awesome regular and limited releases. Sign up for their Newsletter, as it tells you about upcoming events like new releases and bottling workshops....oh yeah, the bottling workshop was a hoot. You work with a small group to hand bottle a batch of whiskey, can buy a bottle that you processed, and after it's all done you get to kick back at the barand go through a tasting!

We were really excited to try the distillery out since it?s our favorite whiskey to buy and always have it at the house! However, our experience visiting the distillery was really uncomfortable. As soon as we walked through the door it was just like something was off. Record scratch silence kinda off. No smiles or greeting from anybody and the interactions at the bar felt borderline avoidant. As much as we love the whiskey (we do, a lot) I don?t think the customer service metour expectations.

Great experience. Had the Whiskey flight and relaxed while walking(tasting) 3 Whiskeys. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable but not overbearing. Will definitely be back.

Tour was fascinating and tour guide was interesting and knowledgeable. Tasting flights were very enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit!
