Harpoon Harry's - Punta Gorda

Everything was great! Great view! Great customer service! Denise in the bar took care of us very well. Peel and eat shrimp was our favorite. The food came out quickly! We're coming back!

The atmosphere is great and being able to sit outside right by the water is always amazing. We loved watching the boats coming and going. (FYI yes you can get their by boat and there are docks available for restaurant use) Most of us got some sort of seafood and it was delicious. My daughter who doesn't eat any type of seafood got a cheese steak sandwich which she enjoyed. The prices were for the most part average but some dishes were a little pricey. The drinks were ice cold, the waitress was very friendly and the overall restaurant was very clean. They like almost always were very busy but productive. We ate lunch there on a Sunday and was very disappointed in the amount of items they were out of. Part of this could be due to the shortages all over the country so I didn't take off any stars because of it. I was however really looking forward to having some oysters with my lunch. As was was my son who wanted to try their shark bites. Hopefully they will have them next time we din.

AMAZING view, terrific food (beer served in plastic cups? , and even the walk to get to the restaurant was scenic! Located at the end of the Fisherman 's Village Mall, Harry 's is an open-air raw bar! The most tranquil view of the harbor is located right here! Enjoy your coctail, eat your gator tail, wings, or raw oysters, and watch the boats cruise right by (or up to the restaurant! A must visit while in Punta Gorda and a local staple that has earned its place in the top restaurants by the waterfront!

I was on a girl's trip for the weekend and we went here to eat. It was tasty and prices were reasonable to me. I got the lobster dip and a Philly steak and cheese. The lobster dip was awesome and the Philly was just okay. What I did like was we were right on the ocean at our table it was beautiful. The waiter was nice and attentive as well. I would go back again!?? Oh, yeah we had chocolate cake too.

When we arrived at noon on a Saturday, all the booths along the water were filled, so we chose the booth in the second row on the far right, which still offered a lovely view of the water. We ordered a shrimp basket with fries and slaw, and a calamari appetizer basket as an entree. We were not disappointed by either one. There were ten nice sized breaded shrimp along with tasty fries and a small container of slaw. The shrimp were cooked just right. The appetizer serving of calamari was huge. The calamari had just the right amount of breading and were hot and fresh. The side of marinara sauce was tasty. I was surprised at how good the calamari were since this place didn't seem like a high end restaurant. Our server Justin did a great job, politely and timely. He seemed pretty busy but never rushed us, and refilled our sodas each time they got low without us needing to ask. The views here are amazing and give you that relaxed Florida vacation feeling. I would definitely go back again and order the seafood.
