I know enough about restaurants to understand that any place known for its stunning views likely falls short in terms of culinary innovation, to put it politely. My expectations weren't high, but I got exactly what I wanted out of The Point--the ability to chill out away from the hustle and bustle while I gawk at nature. It's quite a few steps offshore, and when you dine outside you're hanging completely over water. This is one of the only places in town I was not fiercely solicited while trying to enjoy myself It is MUCH colder here than everywhere else. It's a blessing in the summer but otherwise the wind will be brisk...but patio dining is still worth it. I had some pina coladas and the mini shrimp chimis, they were delightful. Service good too. I kept it simple and had a fantastic time just hanging out!
