The rolls were not very neatly rolled, and it was my first time trying this tempura. However, my stomach didn't complain!
The Kimchi soup was quite good, but the rolls could be prepared better; the rice was overcooked, and the udon noodles tasted more like regular noodles. It was clear that the teriyaki sauce had been substituted with something else. The addition of Napa cabbage was unnecessary, and the music felt like something a minibus driver would play. The only Japanese elements present were the paintings and souvenir swords. The California rolls contained a dessert-style mascarpone cheese that was overly sweet with a hint of chocolate. On the plus side, the portions of noodles were large, but unfortunately, they weren't tasty—more overcooked than anything. With all the supposed teriyaki sauce, it resembled a soup rather than a noodle dish. My advice is to hire a good chef.
We bought a family set of baked Philadelphia rolls for dinner. The fish was very unpleasant—hard and lacking flavor as if it had been over-frozen. The rolls were also overly salty. The wasabi wasn't spicy, and the rice was slightly undercooked. Overall, it was tasty, but not as good as we had hoped.
It seems that pizza is cooked delicious and not the most expensive. But Caesar pizza just killed ... Baking it with iceberg lettuce, and not adding fresh after the oven is a nightmare. As a result, slimy tasteless algae. Hands would be torn off who did it.
