Jl's Barbeque - Pryor Creek

Most disappointing place I’ve eaten at. The only thing that was nice about it was the friendly staff.

If you are in the Pryor/Chouteau area and have never ate here... GO. YOU will not be disappointed. This is a staple place for the locals. You will get plenty to eat... Most couples can eat off a two meat plate.

Floor was dirty. Ordered the chicken fried steak. Came out burned. Gravy was terrible. Tasted like it was made with spoiled milk. Beans were gross. Wife got chicken strip dinner. Food was cold. Cheesecake was also terrible.

I have to be honest, the main sell for a bbq joint is the meat, and the meat at JLs is not good. Ordered smoked brisket, I literally was served pot roast. Their bbq sauces taste bizarre for lack of a better term. I make better tasting bbq out of my webber kettle. Massive disappointment.

Ribs were decent. Sausage definitely not to my liking, and Luke warm. Fries store bought and probably warmed up in the oven. Beans were terrible. Huge servings. My 2 meat plate could have fed 3 people. Price was average.
