Smoking Star Bbq - Provo

Brisket and pork 2 meat plate with smoked potatoes, potato salad and maize bread. Liked the taste of everything. Brisket is shredded (which it is slightly dried) instead of a cut serving. Sauce is sweet. Colleage dining room with my ate the jalapeño sausage and brisket with smoked potatoes and Mac n cheese. We both enjoyed the meal and will be back soon.

Wow! This place is great! I happened across it while in the Provo Towne Center Mall and decided to get some take home food. The gals there were focused on customer satisfaction and had me try almost everything on the menu before purchasing anything. They have the most delicious creamed corn of all things, and the same goes for the banana pudding. I walked out with some baby back pork ribs and some tri-tip. This is a great place to pop in and have BBQ. I foresee this popping up as a franchise.

This is a great family owned business. I have brought several people there for business lunches at the PTCM (very convenient from I-15), and the food is always great! Get there earlier in the day for ribs as they go fast! Pork, sausage, beef, and turkey are all excellent. The best sides IMHO are the loaded beans and the cream corn. Everything is fresh and home made.

Let’s begin with the outstanding customer service. The staff is incredibly helpful when it comes to making choices. The food is both fresh and authentic. The pulled pork is absolutely delicious, and all three BBQ sauces available are fantastic. I can’t wait to return! And guys, you have to try the banana pudding—it’s delightful!

I requested a slice of brisket point from the fatty side, and the combination of flavor and texture created some of the best brisket I've had in this area! I will definitely be returning.
