The carbonara was particularly disappointing; it should be creamy and made with guanciale, but instead, it was not creamy at all and clearly lacked egg yolk. To make matters worse, it was prepared with regular bacon, reminiscent of what you’d find in a roadside diner—what a letdown. As for the portions, they were excessively large, but big servings cannot compensate for the lack of quality or flavor. It saddens me to say that even the Cheesecake Factory would be a better choice than this place. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. They really need to reevaluate their approach, and to top it off, it was expensive. Yikes!
This was truly one of the most delightful experiences I've had. Our party of seven was well cared for by our attentive and friendly waitress. The hostess, Miley, shared charming stories and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely exquisite. We had a mix of adults and young adults in their twenties, and the captivating stories made me feel as if I were on the coast of Italy rather than in Provincetown, MA. Being a family-owned establishment really added to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this charming restaurant to everyone!
What a charming little restaurant! It feels a world away from the usual tourist spots. The menu and wine selection are impressive. For us, the standout dishes were the Polpette meatballs appetizer, the limoncello cake, and the chocolate mousse, all of which were simply excellent. We also loved the fantastic San Michele Valpolicella Ripaso red wine and the side of mushrooms, which were delightful. The Calamari Imbottiti (stuffed squid) and Sogliola Imbottiti (stuffed flounder) were both good but could have used a little something extra; they were slightly bland and had a bit too much breadcrumb. However, we truly enjoyed our server's company, and everyone was very sweet and polite.
This is hands down the most disgusting Italian food I’ve ever eaten. Pasta was overcooked and lacked flavor. My steak came out well done after I’ve asked for medium-rare. Been coming here for about 10 years, but this was definitely my last time. $200 for 2 people and we both hated our food. And there were also ants in our bread. What a disaster.
The restaurant was only 1/2 full, but still the food took 2 hours. I asked for my martini shaken. The bartender explained that he has made thousands and he has never shake once. He then came over to my table and asked how it was. When I explained that it was fine, but not what I wanted, he began to argue with me. I asked him to leave the table multiple times. The waiter explained that the bartender has all the power and that nobody else matters.
