The beach-front seating left our kids in awe, and even though they are usually very picky eaters, they finished everything on their plates and even asked for seconds. That's a personal best for them and made the visit truly worthwhile. But it was more than just that. I found the food to be some of the freshest I've ever tasted anywhere. I ordered the Conch Sampler, which was a fantastic way to sample different conch dishes, and the coconut cracked conch was my favorite. My wife had the snapper and declared it the best fish she's ever had. The flavors were outstanding, and the service was incredibly friendly. Dining at Bugaloo's was one of the highlights of our entire trip. If you're in Provo, I highly recommend visiting!
The conch salad is a tad pricey at $25, but it’s absolutely delicious! The grilled lobster is fairly priced. The location is beautiful, featuring plenty of outdoor seating with great views. The service is friendly, though not always very attentive—you can always approach them if you need something.
The service was hit or miss. We arrived a bit later than intended, and almost immediately after we sat down, before my brother-in-law and his oldest son had even returned from the restroom, a server came to take our order. It felt a bit rushed, especially since we hadn't had a chance to peruse the menus yet. We ordered water and asked for a moment to decide, but then the server disappeared for nearly 15 to 20 minutes, leaving our group with three hungry young kids. It seemed like she could have been more attentive, especially since she clearly liked the children. Despite some delays, the food was delicious and definitely worth the price. We tried various dishes, although I can't remember them all. My cracked conch was a bit rubbery, while my fiancée's coconut cracked conch tasted much fresher, possibly indicating mine had been reheated or caught a few days prior. Overall, I would still highly recommend Bugaloos if you find yourself in Turks and Caicos—it's definitely among our favorite meals from the trip.
The food here was very tasty. This is only our 2nd day on the island but we have been overly impressed with the food. The seafood is to die for and super tasty. We stopped in here on the recommendation of a gal we sat next to on the plane. She liked this place more and said it would not be as crowded. We went during the lunch hour and felt we had the place to ourselves. To have sand under our feet or even eat in the water was super fun. My wife had the cracked conch and I had the peppered shrimp. Both dishes were hot and cooked perfectly. The fries were an added bonus. My wife elected for the up-charge and getting the mac'n'cheese. She was not sad by that choice. If you are just arriving to the island don't be surprised by the sticker price. Everything is more expensive here.
Great food. We loved everything we got. The conch ceviche was fantastic. My first time trying conch! Would recommend but it is quite expensive more expensive than you would expect. There are other equally casual spots that are cheaper, but food was good.
