Princeville Makai Golf Club

The disc golf course here was a lot of fun and nice. The clubhouse was also very accommodating to get my facility and show me in the right direction. I was surprised to see only another group on the whole course. Maybe disc golf on the island is not very popular.

This course lives up to the Troon name! My wife and I visited the course which was immaculate. Beautiful fairways and immaculate greens! The views were amazing and overall what a great course! My only complaint was speed of play! Did feel a little bit rushed, maybe we just wanted more time to take in the views! Highly recommended!

This was one of the most beautiful courses I have played. Amazing ocean views mixed with great tree lined holes. The problem was really slow greens. The rest of the course was in great shape. Fairways and tee boxes were wonderful. Pace of play was slow. But the design of the course lends it to that. The first park three had 3 groups stacked up on it. If you are in the area, it is a must play.

My husband is the one golfing? I just ride in the cart and make observations about stuff. This course is beautiful, you can?t beat the views. And that is honestly what you?re paying for? because the level of service and amenities is not at all on par (see what I did there? with other courses of similar price in Hawaii. No beverage cart? No free water stocked in Ethe coolers? But no one?s out here complaining because the views are amazing. Just come prepared people? bring some water with you!

Fantastic golf experience. The course was very well maintained and a fun challenging experience. Before I get specific I want to say the positives definitely out weigh the negatives. If it was out of 10, I would have gone with a 9. The positives: the views (see pictures), the course condition, the overall on golf course experience was great. The pro shop was also well stocked. The negatives: the range wasn't great and we were told not to hit driver to warm up. The pro shop was understaffed with one person working while multiple people tried to check in and others were there just to buy merchandise. No ball washers, (and no towel to clean your ball or club), pacing was a bit slow and we waited on most holes. No ready made sandwiches that the beverage cart had, and nothing ready at the turn which led to 3 groups waiting to tee off on #10. I would still recommend the course for sure. Just some areas they could improve for sure. I get members and locals may play the course quickly but adding 1 minute to the tee time gaps would make it smoother for people that are inevitably going to be taking pictures all the time as there are incredible views no matter which way you turn. If it was out of 10, as I said earlier I would come in at a 9. Minor improvements could make the experience perfect.
