Subway - Prince Frederick

I am new in the area, so it was thrilled to find this subway near me in a Shell Station. For the first time I visited service was great and staff friendly. Last couple of times, various employees were in service with a very different attitude. I felt like I wasn't welcome and server hated her job. It regrets me to be there. This is annoying, but I don't blame the new staff for the owners or the subway.

I visited this restaurant on September 4, 2021, and the staff were polite. My mother and I ordered two foot-long Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki sandwiches. My mom's sandwich came out perfectly, but unfortunately, mine was a disappointment and ended up in the trash! I chose the Italian Herb and Cheese bread, which I usually love, but this time it was undercooked—doughy and unappetizing. I should have returned it while I was there, but the place was busy, and I always feel guilty asking for a replacement. In the end, I threw away $11, and I'm really upset about how bad it was. I'll give this place 4 stars because it's improving. I understand it's a Subway in a gas station, and that you can have busy days or rough shifts. About six months ago, we stopped visiting, even though we live nearby. My wife used to go to this Subway while I would drive to another gas station, but I decided to give this location another try a week or two ago. I was pleasantly surprised: the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was fresh. I happened to visit during a less busy time, which I think helped maintain the quality. Yes, it’s still a Subway in a gas station where you can grab sodas and snacks, but I recommend stopping by. The staff seem committed to keeping things tidy and running smoothly!

Great spot to refuel for the first time. Just be sure not to miss the turn off from the main road, or you'll pass it by. My girlfriend was craving a drink and some snacks, and I was impressed with how clean and nicely decorated the inside was.

It was decent, but when I ordered a toasted sub, I expected it to actually be toasted.
