Comptes De Prades

A normal restaurant. In my case, I ordered a timbale d'escalivada, which I didn't like too much, and some pork cheeks, which were good. In total about 30/35 euros adding a Cocacola. For my taste, a tad expensive for what I ate, but hey, it wasn't bad. The staff was friendly and attentive. I don't know if I would do it again, but it's fine to stop for a day.

Stopped in Prades for lunch on our way from Poblet to Siurana. First restaurant was closed and we came across this hidden gem on the way out of town. Menu del dia format with about 5 choices. Spanish/Catalan food. The salads were huge and could be a meal alone. Main course was a good portion for menu del dia. After dessert, we were offered their limoncella. Food was very good; service started great but unfortunately fell off as the waitress appeared to be distracted. We would certainly visit again if in the area.

Restaurant on camping site. Recently refurbished to high standard. menu is Spanish/ Catalan. menu del dia about €12 the food is excellent and service first class. l am vegetarian and chef catered for me, no problem. Recommended.
