I had another delicious homemade lunch at this charming little restaurant in Builth Wells. The Cawl was very tasty and the crumble was wonderful. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

This family-owned restaurant is doing an excellent job catering to both the local community and visitors, like ourselves. We enjoyed the homemade broccoli and stilton soup as well as the lamb cawl, both of which were of top quality and served with a warm crusty baguette. The staff were very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to stop by on our way home, but we will definitely be returning in the future.

I always find something delicious to eat at this restaurant. It had been a while since my last visit, but it was nice to return. I ordered the Tuscan Chicken with garlic bread, which was really tasty. However, there was a bit too much of it for me, and since I was in a hurry, I couldn't finish it all. Perhaps next time I will plan better so I can savor my meal for longer.

This place is sooo grubby. The carpet tiles are peeling up and very dirty. The paintwork needs a good clean. Everything is drab and grubby and dusty. I hoped the standards in the kitchen were better. I just felt a bit icky sitting in there My breakfast sausage roll was accompanied with a tiny salad., The sausages were of ok quality. But there was nothing with them, mo onion or even butter on the rather dry roll. My coffee was not good. My friend had poached eggs on toast. The eggs were like bullets and the bread was soggy and she couldn’t eat it. She said her cappuccino was tasteless apart from the abundance of chocolate powder on the top
