Asiana Bistro Powhatan

I usually call my order in, it's always done to perfection and it's always ready to go as soon as I get there, the bags are hot and even when I get home the food is still hot, it's delicious and tasteful.! Definitely my all-time favorite Chinese restaurant, and they will have my business forever!

I dined at this restaurant for the first time yesterday and ordered the triple pleasure with fried rice and a Vietnamese spring roll accompanied by peanut sauce. The triple pleasure was delicious, with the meat cooked perfectly and the vegetables flavorful. However, the fried rice only had onions, which was disappointing as I expected the traditional ingredients like eggs, peas, and carrots. Additionally, I was charged an extra $1.25 for the rice, which I’ve never encountered in a Chinese restaurant before. The spring roll was fresh, containing three shrimp each, but the peanut sauce was quite disappointing—it tasted more like melted peanut butter than anything else. I’m open to trying this place again, but I’ll skip the fried rice and spring roll next time.

The Chinese food here is incredibly tasty—definitely above average. The fried rice was exceptional, while the hot and sour soup could have been spicier, but it was still very good. The orange chicken was bursting with flavor. I've tried all the Chinese restaurants in Powhatan, and this was my first visit to this one. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. We fed a family of five for just $35, with leftovers to spare!

You might be surprised, but this place serves fantastic sushi! I've been coming here for years, and it's one of the few spots with consistently fresh fish. I usually order the Powhatan roll, while my boyfriend has tried almost all the rolls on the menu, and we both adore this place. Compared to other sushi restaurants like Level, this place is quite affordable. Who would have thought that you could find such amazing sushi in Powhatan, VA!
