Giant Eagle Bakery - Powell

Giant eagle made a delicious unicorn cake for my birthday. I only gave them a day to decide that they had it ready the next day.

Gian Eagle Bakery is always my go-to for a special cake, but today they truly exceeded my expectations! I requested a cake decorated with tools, and the decorator did an amazing job! They created a tool belt with several tools, and even the edge of the cake was designed to look like a band. It turned out perfect—better than I could have ever imagined!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Giant Eagle and its staff! The store was very well stocked, although I couldn't find chips and toilet paper. I noticed someone continuously cleaning surfaces as customers entered, and there was even an announcement for "sanitize time." When that happened, I saw employees diligently wiping down all the handles on the coolers near the entrance. Their hard work often goes unnoticed, so I made sure to let a manager know how impressed I was with everything they are doing. I appreciate their commitment to health, their humility, and I want to thank all the individuals who are putting themselves on the line—whether they are doctors, nurses, store owners, and so on. Everyone in different roles plays a vital part in our daily lives.
