Brooklyn Pizza - Powell

Finding New York-style pizza in Ohio can be a challenge. While this pizza isn't exactly the classic New York flavor, it is still quite enjoyable. The sauce has a nice sweetness to it, and I would have liked a bit more cheese. Overall, I would likely come back and would recommend it to others.

I really wanted to love this place and give it a five-star rating. Unfortunately, my recent experience as a first-time customer fell short. When I asked the pizza guy (not the cashier) if he could help me, his response was a bit terse: "We sell pizza." Thanks for that, pizza guy. For a moment, I felt like I was back in Philly with that kind of service. The staff seemed indifferent, although one employee gave me a sympathetic smile, almost as if she understood the frustration. Thankfully, my hunger kept me from walking out, and I'm glad I stayed. For good, affordable pizza, I’ll choose to overlook the lack of friendly suggestions and simply place my order. I suppose they prefer it that way?

Originally from NY, nobody beats NY-style pizza. Brooklyn Pizza is as authentic as you can get. Pizza by the slice, and amazing white pizza, and just cheese pizza as they should be. Thanks for bringing me back to New York

Easily one of the best pizza's I've ever had anywhere. Even visiting New York several times, never had pizza this good. Happy to have it close to home.
