Milanese - Poughkeepsie

The food is from this world! Didn't eat so long! You feel like eating on Sunday. Absolutely excellent!!!

The Milanese has been a staple Italian restaurant in Poughkeepsie for several years. The food is still as delicious and fresh as it has always been. The interior has been updated and much nicer than it was a few years back. We had the Chicken Francaise and Chicken Parmigiana. Both were excellent with enough leftover for another dinner. A side salad and pasta was included with both meals. Both were excellent. Garlic bread comes before the meal. A complaint I have with many restaurants is that they rush all the food out at once. Not so at the Milanese, everything was timed perfectly: bread and drinks followed by the salad followed by the main meal. Nice restaurant. Highly recommended.

Classic NY Italian Restaurant with an authentic taste and ambiance. Food was delicious with enough leftovers for the next day, at a fair price. Highly recommend the calamari to share.

Amazing first time experience. The food was amazing and so was dessert definitely recommend if your looking for amazing homemade Italian food !!!

I went here for my birthday food is good as usual we had this dish called the Davy V it is steak with shrimp on top for appetizers we had steamed clams and eggplant rollatini and for drinks it's always Long Island Iced Tea without the sour mix and orange crush vodka
