Everything was delicious! the student servers were beautiful and professional. in any case, we recommend the affogato dessert that we have been informed means drown in italian. espresso poured over gelato which is not to love.
I may be a bit biased on this assessment when I studied at this amazing institute in 1989. everyone I'm in contact with makes me so good, I've been told to be home by many I've been interacting with. as well as the selection on the menu is amazing if not all staff members in the kitchen are students. service and eat where excellent and much when you select the 3 curs price menu.
I attended the Cork and Fork event featuring multiple chefs, each creating a course and wines paired to the course. This was my first time visiting the Culinary and I'm excited to return in the near future. The setting alone is worth the visit and while I was dining on meals prepared by local chefs, the Ristorante Caterina was beautiful, the staff (Culinary students) were very responsive, the entertainment enjoyable, and the wines impressive. An enjoyable evening to say the least.
I didn't get to take pics for this dinner date but I wanted to write in and tell everyone about the sangria lol. YUM. It was a white wine, which I wasn't expecting, but the lower you went into the drink it got sweeter and sweeter from the fruit. The food was amazing I ordered the Marguerite pizza (it was pizza lol , Linguine Alle Vongole (delicious! , and the Zucchini Parmigiana... they used bechamel which made it intriguing for me enough to try it. I was not disappointed!!! SO GOOD. The students were delightful to interact with, and we love asking them what they were going to the CIA for... it's actually our favorite part of the visit. Good luck to Granger, our waiter, in his studies, as one of the first to attend beer studies! Do know that the restaurants add a 20% gratuity, which goes to the students as scholarship money. WORTH IT. Support these students and enjoy a great meal!
